You do. Your letter is written with Incredible Letters, not by it. The AI suggests a draft from what you tell us, and you read it over and change anything until it sounds like you.

Anyone you like, such as a parent, a partner, a grandparent, a child, a teacher or a friend. We have pages for holidays and occasions like Thanksgiving, birthdays and Mother's Day, and you can always write one just because.

Camp Fire started Absolutely Incredible Kid Day® in 1997. Every year on the third Thursday of March, adults write to the kids in their lives to tell them they matter. It's where Incredible Letters began, and it still has its own page. We aren't affiliated with Camp Fire.

4. Pick a look, then download a PDF to print at home, or have us print and mail it.

Yes. You can edit your letter at any point while you write it. If you sign in and press Save, you can come back to it later from My letters. Without an account, download your PDF to keep a copy.

• Print it yourself: download a PDF and print it at home. Nice paper or card stock makes it feel special.
• Have it mailed: we print your letter and mail it first class to the person you choose.

We show you when your letter has gone to print, but we don't tell you when it arrives or when it's opened. Letters are personal, and we think the person you wrote to should get theirs without anyone watching.

The name you choose, then "c/o Incredible Letters" and our return address, so the person knows who it's from before they open it. Leave it blank and the envelope shows only our name and address. Your own address is never printed. If a letter can't be delivered it comes back to us, not to you.

Yes. Each occasion page has an example letter to show what's possible, and there are several letter designs to choose from, including premium ones you can unlock.

Only what we need to run the service. Without an account, the details you type go to our AI writing helpers to draft the letter, and the letter stays in your browser. We don't store it. If you sign in and press Save, we keep that letter encrypted. For mailed letters we need the recipient's name and address. We also use our own analytics to see which pages and ads bring people here. Saved letters, and the letter and address in a mail order, are encrypted by our application on top of our database provider's encryption, and all traffic uses HTTPS. Our logs never contain the details you type or the letter text.

We never sell your information or your letters. We share only what each service provider needs, such as Stripe for payments, our print-and-mail partner for mailed letters, and AI providers that don't train on your letters. Ad platforms such as Meta and Google may learn that a purchase came from their ad, but never see your letter. The Privacy Policy lists them all.

A letter written without an account isn't stored by us at all. Saved letters stay until you delete them or your account. For a mailed letter, we keep the address and letter encrypted until 30 days after printing, then only a basic order record.

Yes. We believe everyone deserves to feel loved, and every letter puts a little more love into the world, so writing one here shouldn't cost a thing. Writing, downloading and printing at home are free, and you don't need an account to start.

The free PDF has one line at the bottom: Written with Incredible Letters, with our web address. Pay what you want and it shrinks to a small credit, with a box to leave it off for a clean copy. Our golden designs keep the full line until you unlock them too.

We want everyone to be able to use Incredible Letters, whatever they can pay. Some people can give more and some can't, and both should get to send a letter. So you decide what it's worth to you.

• Any amount from $1 removes that line and unlocks most of our premium designs.
• Paying more in total than the amount shown at checkout also unlocks the golden designs, as a thank-you. Already paid? You can top up the difference later.
• Nothing recurs, and the unlock stays on your account. You'll sign in before you pay so we know whose account it belongs to.

Letters happen when life does: a birthday, a hard week, a holiday. We don't think you should pay every month for that. You pay only if and when you want to, and there's nothing to cancel.

No. Incredible Letters is made by Think On Labs, a small company, not a charity. What you pay is for the work and keeps the site running, and it isn't a charitable donation. Our Terms have the details.

Mailed letters have a flat price, shown before you pay, that covers printing, the envelope and First-Class postage. It isn't pay what you want, because those costs are the same for every letter.

We use Stripe for payments, which accepts major credit and debit cards and, depending on where you are, other payment methods. We never see or store your card number.
